Where technology, AI and product meet

My experience spans software engineering, automation, enterprise systems and AI, with hands-on work across LLM applications, RAG systems, APIs, workflow automation and digital platforms. I like turning business challenges into practical technology that improves how people and teams work.

At ember I work on technology and digital transformation across the business: improving internal systems and workflows, and exploring AI, automation, integrations and custom digital solutions. Much of the role is understanding operational challenges and finding practical ways technology can improve efficiency and experience.

Alongside that I run DesignedBySaif, an independent digital products brand that has taught me product development, design, user experience, e-commerce and audience building.

- Benchmarked 6+ AI-assisted development tools on real production tasks; the recommendation report shaped the team's long-term tooling strategy.
- Implemented UAE FTA e-invoicing compliance inside a live production ERP, translating 40+ pages of regulatory specs into technical designs.
- Automated Ubuntu/LXC container deployment with Bash, saving 3 hours of manual work a week.

Bikal Technologies (UK) Ltd
- Designed and deployed a conversational AI platform in six weeks, letting teams query live CRM data in natural language.
- Built an agentic function-calling architecture routing requests across 15+ CRM APIs.
- Developed a RAG pipeline with vLLM (Qwen2.5), Milvus and HuggingFace embeddings.
- Built n8n and Langflow automations that cut manual operational handoffs by 70%.
